Enrollment and Programs
The Department began admitting undergraduate students in 2001. Undergraduate admissions follow Taiwan’s national university admission system. To support advanced professional training and scholarly development, the Department established its Master’s Program in 2007. In addition, the Department offers an In-service Master’s Program to support working professionals and promote lifelong learning and career advancement.

Designed for working professionals to strengthen advanced competencies, practical application, and career development.
Mid-term Development Plan
- Strengthen curriculum focus and departmental development We will further develop structured curriculum concentrations, update learning spaces and equipment, and enhance academic and career advising. Students will be supported in building depth in selected professional areas and preparing for relevant certifications, depending on their pathways.
- Enhance teaching quality and learning effectiveness We will continue to implement systematic teaching evaluation and improvement mechanisms to strengthen instructional quality and student learning outcomes.
- Expand partnerships with industry and community We will deepen collaboration with partner organizations and increase community engagement to broaden learning opportunities and strengthen students’ practical readiness. Partnerships may include healthcare organizations, community centers, exercise/fitness and leisure-related organizations, and the tourism and recreation sectors.
- Strengthen faculty development and academic professionalism We will maintain rigorous faculty recruitment standards and encourage ongoing professional development through continuing education, scholarly activities, and research support, strengthening sustainable growth in both teaching and research.

- Advance research and scholarly impact The Department will strengthen research capacity through the planning and execution of research projects, participation in academic activities, and the development of scholarly publications and teaching resources, enhancing academic impact and field advancement.
- Promote internationalization and global engagement We will expand international collaboration through academic publications, conferences, invited lectures and seminars, and institutional partnerships to foster global scholarly exchange and support the long-term goal of educational internationalization.
